Armando Maldonado
is a native of Calexico, California. He is currently the Creative
Services Director at KBNT-TV, the local Univision affiliate
in San Diego. Maldonado comes with over 20 years of experience
in television and radio production.
From 1994 – 1998 Maldonado ran his own company, Hispanic
Media Productions, producing hundreds of commercials in English
and Spanish for many local businesses.
Maldonado has also taught broadcasting students in the Radio
TV Department at San Diego City College.
Maldonado also worked as a news photographer at KNSD-TV,
KUSI-TV, and several TV stations in Sacramento, California.
Armando holds a Masters degree from C.S.U. in Sacramento,
and a B.A. in Communication Studies from C.S.U. as well as
an advertising diploma from The Art Advertising College.
