|
This human interest television magazine,
covers issues, events, politics, people arts, culture,
Music, folklore, and features in and around the border
region.
The 30-minute program opens with a dynamic, original
colorful, graphic and animation. It includes the signature
title Stories de la Frontera and an original Latin music
score. The show is hosted by award- winning journalist,
Laura Castañeda. She introduces 4 to 5 segments
produced by herself and a team of other award- winning
journalists and photojournalists. These issues may already
be newsworthy but have merely been scratched at the
surface by local news organizations or local publications.
The longer four- to seven- minute segments enable the
team to provide more in-depth interviews, compelling
visuals and offer more insight into these complex subjects.
Other segments are aimed at unveiling unique arts and
culture on both sides of the international border, from
galleries to folklore. Language is not a barrier in
telling visually compelling and interesting stories.
All stories are subtitled where needed. |

never before seen documentary work from local filmmakers
will be showcased. Although the work will not been seen
in it’s entirety the audience will learn more
about the subject, the film maker and what happened
behind the scenes to put it all together. This provides
local filmmakers a chance to showcase their work. When
possible, this segment will include a short interview
with the filmmaker following the documentary clip. |
